Story behind the song
2003 - A experiment into whether I could play a five finger backward roll and incorporate it into some song. This was the outcome. Since it is a 5-finger roll, it by default became 5/4 timing, thus the name 10/8 ....referring to the timing. With the drum programming, it took on another totally different sound... to me an Asiatic or Middle Eastern flair. DADGAD tuning.
