Story behind the song
Clip 2 starts out with more of the 5th giving suboctave (which sounds fat and analog, don't you think?) and adds in some upper sliders from the HOG to give a nice upper texture to my ring modulated tones. Then I add some envelope for a more synth attack.
Then I switch into Freeze Gliss mode. So I could freeze a note on the HOG, then I could play another note and it would be all ring modulated and atonal and then gliss into consonance when I pulled back on the expression pedal.
Then I turn off the HOG and put the dry out of the frequency analyzer into the carrier. This creates sort of an overdrive fuzz, which is weird because you should get the same effect I got at the beginning of clip 1, but when I later add in a 5th on the HOG, suboctave starts to creep in as it should.
