Story behind the song
A lady at our church one day testified regarding her son and how he was sent away to prison for 20 years shortly after his 18th birthday. It made me consider the depth of my compassion and whether I reserve it only for those who I might deem 'worthy' of it. Certainly that was not the example of Jesus who showed compassion for all.
