Story behind the song
I wanted to do an introduction track to my career thus an introduction to my life. This is my first serious project and I wanted to make sure i was real and i had all the elements of me present in my introduction track. I used the old school beat because it sounds pure and not influenced by the mainstream. Well just listen to the track, if you smoke, then i would suggest blazing and if you don't turn up the music, I'll make sure you get high.
Lyrics
VERSE 1: Positive vibrations whenever i write man/ in the slow lane, just striding through life man/ Chillmatic flows just ignite from my right hand/ while the marijuana breeze keeps me enlightened/ while other brothers try to swag just like them/ I originate, straight dope, original style man/ They ain't dope, they a bunch of placebos/ and i'm more pure than a key of that D-bo/ I got alot of problems, jus just like you/ but the difference is that i stay calm and cool/ and collected, doing what i got to do/ cuz if u on something else, then u ain't doing you/ I don't even fucking worry about friends no more/ cuz friends change more than a fashion hoe/ yeah, one day yall the besties/ then next day, act like they never met me/ but that's all good, my nig, just forget me/ but still I show love, like my friend never left me/ on my lonesome, getting blunted in the backseat/ Never hard feelings, when you share good memories/ HOOK: i'm on chill........ VERSE 2: Positive vibrations whenever i write man/ thinking bout my momma and her struggle to fight man/ living in poverty, just ain't right man/ hard labor factories, slave to a white man/ but she so chill, that she know it's alright man/ cuz when i graduate, i'm a make it all right man/ even if a nigga gotta work till the night man/ cuz In the dark times is when I shine real bright man/ and and and... that's real fucked about my brother/ legalize the weed and that won't happen to another/ cuz pills will kill and have your mind smothered/ that's why i just chill and live life buttered/ and to my boys, my niggas, my brothers, keep a look out for the dirty undercover/ but on the real, just chill/ go to school, play a sport, get a deal/ cuz selling coke ain't the only way to get a meal/ but it is a way good way to get a nigga killed/ legalize the weed, that'lll change the world/ but til then i'm a smoke...and just chill/ Hook:
