You wouldn’t believe, the sh** these people go through
In their lives nothing changes, nothing is new
Living in a land full of sand, nothing is grew
There’s a hundred million people, only water for a few
They got no hope, and they got no soul
In a land so hot, but authorities cold
Kids taken from their mums, for a bit of bread sold
Shipped across the globe, from the north to south pole
Kept in cages, no one misses them at all
Used for dark rituals, their horrors unspeakable
Plight unreachable, this illness untreatable
With people wanting power, they do things unthinkable
They do things unfeaturable, walls unbreachable
In this song I can’t say, It’d give you nightmares
With monsters in the closet, it’d give you night scares
To think that no one cares, when it’s a land that isn’t theirs
(1:02 – 1:22)
Crossin deep seas, in a boat that fits three
You’ll find 20 people, trying to live as they freeze
Shipped into countrys, that are busting at the seams
Coz the immigration cops, got the will but not the means
To keep these people out, stop them getting to the fiends
That sell their bodys as they please, for a little bit of cash,
I’m not talking rash, I’ve seen it with my own eyes,
The deception and the lies, that doctors have to prise,
Babies from their screaming mothers hands
Crying out to god, or for any holy man
To come and save us from this plight
I beg you please, use all your might, raise your voice, do right
And never lose sight, of the people on the sidewalks
Coz the very next day, they could be lined in chalk
Killed coz of drugs, and the rests of a corn stalk
We’ve reached a time of change, I’m through with idle talk
(2:04 – 2:24)
With corruption running riot, in a democratic land
It’s plain to see, that things are getting out of hand
Though the words sound grand, and great things are planned
You gotta ask yourself who’s really in command
Is it you the people, or the selected few?
And is everything they say, really that true
Make your own mind up, about what to do
When you see fellow humans, treated like they’re in a zoo
Will you stand up and fight, or can you look them in the eyes
Look them in the eyes, as they’re lead to die
Will you shed a tear or are you ashamed to cry
To see these people smile, even though they got no life
And I know for one, that ima do my best
To make this world a better place, better for the rest
Better for my kids, it’s my personal quest
And I hope you make it yours, it’s just what I suggest
(3:06 – 3:47)
So next time you hear, about the underlying fear
Supposed to be abroad on our own little sphere
Remember you’re what’s left, you’re the final frontier
For the people needing help, their problems won’t disappear
Their futures unclear, so be a pioneer
Help the ones you hold dear, problems small or severe
Be it Iran or Japan, New York or Milan
We’ve all got our problems, we just need a helping hand
