There was a time in my life I depended on me, this world teaches us that. As i opened my heart to Jesus and Gods word I discovered he wants us to depend on him,not us. Gods word tells us he can not and will not lead us in the wrong direction. What comfort this can bring us. I have found that comfort in my life. I pray you have it in yours.
