Story behind the song
This was the first song I composed for this suite. The progression was initiated by my son Luis who was learning a song on the guitar and asked me for help, and I had never played using this tunning. Once I got done helping him with the song I picked up my 12 string and started figuring out some chord progressions - my wife Tammy was listening as I worked some progressions and commented that the sound was beautifull and it sounded like a gentle rain - so, I pursued this as during this time of my life I was caught in a flood and was having a hard time swiming in it... Resulted in the entire suite/album as a focal point to keep on swiming and not drowning myself in my thoughts...
