Story behind the song
We had the opening riff for almost a month and couldn't do anything with it. Then one night, I busted a string on my guitar and Derek and Ryan were jamming out as I switched out strings. They cam up with the verse melody and voila! The title doesn't mean anything really. I was twistin' up a doobie and was sitting near 124th St. and 109 Ave. and thought "24th & 9th" would be a cool name for a tune and called this song 24th & 9th.
