Story behind the song
I use a Steinberger guitar with a TransTrem. This can change the tuning instantaneously at any time during a song. This song is performed in the key of B but I change tunings periodically so I can play open chords and other passages that would be impossible in standard tuning. This was the first thing I wrote after I got this guitar, I just wanted to see if I could utilize this very interesting feature. I wrote the lyrics about 2 years later the day before I went into the studio to record it. Sometimes love is a bit of a struggle and sometimes no one's right and no one's wrong.
