Story behind the song
The song has been sung by Pt. Satyasheel Deshpande, an eminent vocalist, composer and musicologist specialising in North Indian Classical Vocal Music. The song has been composed by me and written by Shanta Shelke, a brilliant poetess and is written in the language - MARATHI.
The song is from my first ever album and was recorded on a shoestring budget on an eight track quarter inch machine. I was a complete novice when I recorded the song.
