I have been a musician - performer and composer - for close to 50 years, and I've been playing guitar for about 42 of those years. I have become mostly a player of Blues as of late and recently was invited to be the lead guitarist of a revived Blues-Rock 60's band. This picture is of me, and yes, Les Paul! And that's my Les Paul Deluxe, which I play along with my Clapton signature stratocaster.

Story behind the song

Althrax eshuffle #2 is a quick and dirty, no hold barred, experiment I did last weekend with just doing whatever I felt like with this cool backing track I found from a site which my friend Hans (HBL) of the Tired Starlings led me to..

It's been sitting on my laptop for TOO long and today I played through it twice - and I'm uploading the second  take here... warts (bloopers - which there ARE!) . 

Usually I painstakingly edit songs I record I home - but with just a few hours playing time on the weekends available to me.. well there's no time for that if I'm going to get anything recorded and uploaded!  

So, with no editing except noise and volume reduction, here is the second take.
