Story behind the song
Steel Scream wasn't supposed to be a song, it was actually supposed to be the name of my Heavy Metal band in High School when I lived in New Jersey. The name was taken from the wanted ads in a popular Rock magazine. (The word "steel" was over the word "scream" in a particular paragraph) After I moved to Florida in 1987, I started "The Steel Scream Project". In 1991 I had the idea of writing the title song about a train, kinda like "Fantasy Island", on this train you can live your dreams! My friend Alan from New Jersey came down to Florida to visit and we recorded the song in 1992. Alan plays the acoustic guitar and adds backup vocals as well.
NOTE: This song was originally written and intended to be a hard HEAVY METAL song (that's why it's the "train of metal"), but this acoustic version worked out just fine!
