Some say the Universe started with a bang. I say, we will go out with a bang. The earth has grown and matured over billions of years, giving life to all manner of creatures. Most of those creatures live with an intrinsic repect for the environment that supports them. All except one: humans. In a fraction of the Earth's life, we have risen from primordial lava, gained many insights, learned to use tools and virtually bring about our own and the Earth's destruction. SHAME ON US!
