Our pet hampster, JerBear died last spring and my wife was very upset.
I sent an e-mail to my friend Joanne and told her and I also told her jokingly, I hope my wife is that upset, when I take the dirt nap (hopefully not too soon) and Joanne replied with "Who knows who will actually shed a tear upon or demise" I thought, "how profound of a statement that was".
My wife came up with the title
The Realm of Our Tears
(B. Buoncuore/L. Buoncuore/J. Sauro)
Lyrics-B. Buoncuore/L. Buoncuore/J. Sauro
Music-B. Buoncuore
*Who knows who will actually shed a tear upon our demise.
You and I have spilled enough even though the tears were welled up in our eyes.
The changes felt, the road that is long, the demons that we faced.
The light that shined, the years have passed, the dream that left no trace.
(Chorus)
When does justice fill your heart?
Where did the love go?
Maybe those tears will wash away your sorrow
With the hope, you’ll have a brighter tomorrow.
Who knows, who really knows?
*Who knows who will actually shed a tear upon our demise.
A violent whisper, an angel’s cry, tear drops fall out of the skies.
A stray from justice, contempt of love.
You live it everyday.
Your heart is filled with pain and loss.
May the good Lord chase it all away.
(Chorus Repeat)
