This is recorded on 4 tracks, analog tape, with a lot of punch-ins, then mastered to aiff format. I play the instruments and sing the song. The harmonies are messed with a little, to sound not quite like me.
Story behind the song
I wrote this for a friend whom I had not seen in a long time. When we met again, the time in between seemed to disappear. We have kept apace since then. The word 'special' relates to 'mentally retarded' -- which she is not -- but I play for those people too, and wish all my 'fans' loved me as much.
