Story behind the song
This summer we drove from Joplin, Missouri past Bentonville, Arkansas to pick up Elisabeth and her family for our son's wedding. Three days later we made a return trip so that they could catch their flight to Roanoke, Virginia. We don't see them often enough because they live so far away from our home in Dodge City, Kansas. I did not want to say good bye "On a Sunday Morning".
