Lyrics
There was a girl. Her name wasn't really Jennifer. She said she'd been very sad and thought about ending it all but finally she could see the sun again and things felt better. A few days later she had a heart attack while she was cooking dinner for a small party. Her friends found her when they arrived for dinner. She was 28. I didn't know it for a few days, but I wrote and recorded this song that same day. It wasn't really about her -- but our conversation about suicide a few days before was fresh in my mind and I was thinking about her all day. [ more music | onebluenine.com | messages ]
