Short theme originally written (with tongue firmly in cheek) for some buddies having a LAN party.
Story behind the song
This started out life as a very short symphonic sketch I put together to test some new audio software I had bought. I liked the initial theme, and so worked it into a longer sketch for a buddy's LAN party, where it became the official anthem. After I joined the SCA, I re-worked and expanded it into its current form, and now I consider it a martial theme dedicated to the people of Ealdormere, my home kingdom. The piece was recorded using East-West Symphonic Orchestra Silver XP, one track at a time, over quite a few weeks, and mixed in Sonar 3. A few of the brass and reed instrument samples may be from some of the other software packages I have lying around my studio...I may change the title, at some point...
