I'm not really a band, I'm a song writer. I'm originally a bass player, but my writing instrument is guitar and I'm a very poor singer - so be warned!

Story behind the song
This was originally recorded as a competition entry for a song about Western Australia. It didn't win, but country radio found it to be quite appealing and have been playing it around Australia for a couple of years.
Lyrics
Got a heart of gold And the fuel of fires running through her veins Got a magnetic North Beyond the southern plains Got a lot of lucky breaks On beaches like children's smiles And the fruit of her vines Where the Karri caress the sky [chorus] This is my land This is my country Where I can stand And watch the sun set ablaze the sea She holds my hand Shapes my destiny This, my land; My country. Upon her table Always plenty in her bowl Her generous breast Nourishing young and old Tho' seldom does she cry In a flash, torrid rivers she can fill She can turn up the heat And send in the Doctor's chill [chorus] Well it's a peaceful neightbourhood On a bright and sunny side There's not another place You c'n live a better life Than a West Aussie life [chorus]
