Story behind the song
While driving down the road one day I heard a country song on the radio sung by Gretchen Wilson (who has a wonderful voice, by the way). Anyway, the linestood out to me "I'm here for the party & I'm not leaving till you throw me out". I thought how differently I would mean that, if it were coming out of my mouth.
At the same time I have a problem with people just sitting on their hands, and not worshipping the Lord. To put it mildly it's pathedic (i.e. especially when they're saying they're Pentecostal. Know what I mean?
