Story behind the song
While sitting in a Sunday school office in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1965 I wrote this song. I remember the old blue stencil I typed it on. It was the only stencil I had for the old duplicator that I was going to use to make copies for the choir. I made a mistake on a word and had no correction fluid. In order to save the stencil I made up this song. As I look back, I am convinced that what I thought was a mistake back then was actually a blessing from God. This song has moved been a blessing to thousands down through the years.
