This is my prayer to God to make me what he wants me to be.
45 years ago I was playing the Hammond organ at Church when a minister walked over to me shortly after he had preached and asked me what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. After I thought about for a moment I said, "I just want to be what God wants me to be..." A few minutes later I wrote this song.
Lord I come on bended knees
To the one who supplies my needs
Knowing that you can hear me when I call
I don't ask for wealth or fame
It matters not who knows my name
I need help and you're my all in all
My all in all
Thank you Lord for hearing me
All praise belongs to thee
How can I ever thank you for all you've done
All I have I offer you
The scars from battles I've been through
Here's my life
I'll serve you until you come
Until you come.
