Lyrics
Half past midnight in a smoke filled room Sits a lady with a slanted smile She feeds the gypsy for a glimpse in time He's sellling fortunes to help her believe Watcha pay for a wink and a smile A little sunshine and it sells like gold To my surprise when she got up to leave I saw a wiggle and a bounce in her jeans What suits your fancy Will make you happy Hey baby, if you make me smile I'll sit and chat with you awhile Selling sunshine and it comes in a jar Pour me some sugar serve it nice and slow For a spell we'll feel like gold What suits your fancy Will make you happy What is it that you want to believe I'm selling fortunes and fantasies This potion will make you feel alive Wake you up from your bitter strive What suits your fancy Will make you happy

Nice work!! I like those blues and you put together a great sample of blues. Nice writing on the lyrics too! I need to hang out here a learn the craft. Lyrics are difficult for me. Again nicely done. I enjoyed listening.

... To my surprise when she got up to leave I saw a wiggle and a bounce in her ( blue ) jeans ... What would my life have looked like if I ever had invented... the ( blue ) jeans: spectacular I guess, most relaxed and nothing but sex appeal all over the place... Alas... it just wasn't meant to be... That's what they call... the blues... Well performed, sharp, edgy - and a surprisingly rough Jill. Peace - Johannes.
