A wedding song for George's daughter, Terran
George's daughter, Terran, asked him to write this song for their Father/Daughter dance at her wedding reception. At the reception, there was not a dry eye in the house.
Thanks to Eric "One-Take" Lassahn who added drums to GWO's up-until-now drummerless line-up.
April night in Baltimore,
I'm so glad this day is yours.
Little girl, look at you all grown;
You and 'Drew will make a home of your own.
Used to worry, you know I worry,
But I've always been proud.
You keep your feet on the ground
And your head in the clouds.
Moonlit skies may mark your way;
Ties that bind remain the same.
Shooting stars, ten thousand diamond rings;
Make a wish, see what the morning brings.
The sun'll sparkle all around you
Wherever you are;
Always be my lovely daughter
Under endless stars.
April night in Baltimore,
I'm so glad this day is yours.
