A daddy took his little boy out on a puppy hunt.
His face lit up when he first saw that scruffy, little runt.
He held that doggy in his arms and pet his furry head.
As tears of joy ran down his cheeks, he chose his
words and said.

Verse Two
He didn’t think too much of girls as he grew strong
and tall.
They played with dolls, were scared of worms and he
liked playing ball.
But one sweet kiss soon brought about another point
of view.
The day he wed he had some words to add to his, “I do."
Verse Three
And when he came to end of life and stood before God’s throne,
The Lord took him into His arms and claimed him as
His own.
He never mentioned one past sin, for they were
washed away.
Instead He showed a Father’s love and had these
words to say.
