Evangeline are an acoustic duo, based in Leicester in the heart of England. Drawing on a wide range of influences, the pair - Pete Raj (lead guitar/harmony vocals) & Ian Babington (lead vocal/guitar/songwriter) - create a form of acoustic pop that is set to win them fans all around the world. Originally formed in the mid '90s, they are newly reunited and writing new tunes & booking new gigs. Some of the tunes here are lifted from the eponymous 1996 EP, but June '08 brings NEW tunes, in the form of the 'Easy Now' EP - four brand new tunes, Easy Now,Tambourine, Stay With Me Now, & St.Valentine's Day,all recorded in April at Musoplex Studios.
