Story behind the song
Just wanted to write a song about a man who couldn't walk the straight and narrow. It was the first song J ever wrote. First recorded on a home tape player, for lack of anything better. Joel took the basics of the lyrics and chords and made them into something far more worthy. Lyrics, Rhythm guitar and arrangment: J.Walker Lead guitar, percussion, keyboards and production: Joel Shawn. Recently remastered and remixed.
