Story behind the song
It took me a while to realize that my best friend for many, many years would call me up just to chat and check on things and I seemed to only call her on a specific occasion; hence, she was the "better" best friend! I'd like to think I've evened that out now and am a "better" friend than I was, but she's still the best!
