This is one of the first songs I ever wrote, but until now hasn't been recorded.
I have sung this song to my two kids at bedtime on and off for most of their lives. It developed out of the ritual exchange I had with Fox every night before turning out the light, and eventually I put it to music.
Good night, sleep tight.
Don't you dare let those bedbugs bite.
Close your eyes and have sweet dreams,
and I'll see you in the morning.
I know that today was a little rough
but don't you worry about that stuff.
You know that tomorrow's another day.
Maybe things will go your way.
