Everyone can relate with Nandirito Pa Rin Tayo because of its simple plot. I wrote the lyrics March of 2007 but the melody was written two years before. My wanting to show my special someone how happy I am with our relationship triggered me to compose this song. This is a personal realization as to how two people continue holding on in spite of all the challenges along the way. I dedicate this to my special someone, to my family, and to my friends. – Reynato Hantid
SONGWRITER'S PROFILE
Reynato Hantid or Eman is a Gemini -- restless, versatile, exuberant and expressive. He uses “free verse” as his songwriting style and describes his genre as a mixture of classic rock, pop, blues and acoustic. He claims that love is all we need in order to survive in this cruel world. Through music, he shares love. He has won a number of songwriting and poetry contests but he considers being included in Access 2 MYusik’s compilation CD as his greatest achievement so far. His first composition was written when he was in 2nd year high school brought about by frustration when a girl refused to accept his love letter. His influences are Bob Dylan, John Lennon, The Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Eagles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Eric Clapton, Cream and Queen, Mike Hanopol, Joey Smith, Vic Sotto, and Ely Buendia. Aside from being a songwriter, he plays the guitar, harmonica and banjo. He fronts his own band -- Lazersquadron.
