Story behind the song
In some parts of Cutteslowe the Tench is known as 'the Doctor Fish' because its slimy skin exudes a substance that is rumoured to produce music on the blank 4th side of 'Second Winter' by Johnny Winter. FF wrote the lyrics of this song with a blue wax crayon on the back of a brown DSS envelope whilst huddled on the banks of the River Cherwell - barbel-spotting.
