It's a testimony of my grief, longing and God's healing mercy. When I finally reached my breaking point and cried out the Lord gave me a beautiful answer.
Story behind the song
The song was written in 2004 about my 3 babies i couldn't keep, who reside with the Lord in heaven. I had blamed myself for 25 years for losing my three little Angels. I never got to see or hold them, never got to say I’m sorry or I love you. It hurts so much not really knowing why they had to go. But I finally found the courage with the Lords help to let them go.
When I started writing this it was letter to my Angels, it was a clear sunny day, but while I was writing the Lord touched my heart and answered me with a vision of the muddy hillside out my window covered in fresh snow with 3 perfect little snow angels imprinted in it.
I know the Lord did this to give me peace at last. I still cry at times and miss them but I have found peace by God's grace. The songs picture is the Hillside outside my widow in Nov 04 it looked just like this but it was muddy and hoof troddened but all I saw was a field covered in snow and 3 perfect little Snow Angels.
