I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
I start with the music, think of what's on my heart, and build on that. But I tell you, this is 'against the grain' and most of the bible helps and footnotes.
Lyrics
And Three Nights It was Easter Sunday dinner, home with Mom and Dad. The sermon gave us hope, and I was glad. But then, something puzzled me that didn't seem so right. Was Christ in the earth three nights? Well, my dad said Christ had given Jonah as a sign, 'For three days and for three nights' was the time. But some people really wondered what did Jesus say. Did this have to take three days? Chorus: And so, this is how it goes - On Friday, Jesus died and went to paradise. And on Saturday - another day in paradise. On Sunday morning, while still dark out, He did rise. Does that add up to three days and three nights? Well now, Dad had looked at me as I passed the peas. "Now Son, there's problems here that aren't so easy. Mom just smiled at Dad, and said it was all God's own plan. Then she said, "Please pass the lamb". Mom said, "Friday night began the weekly Sabbath rest. (But) Passover is a special yearly fest. It could take place like a sabbath on another night. So, the schedule's not so tight". Chorus 2: And so, this is how it goes - On Thursday Jesus died and went to paradise. On Friday and on Saturday was paradise. On Sunday morning, while still dark out, He did rise. Does that add up to three days and three nights? Bridge: All day long, or five to dusk, The Kingdom's day is counted the same, counted the same. If our Lord counts days as such, Is that how partial days are explained, days are explained? We know the Lord keeps His word, He keeps His word.
