Story behind the song
When composing music, I find myself drawn repeatedly to two themes: love, and the supernatural.
This was inspired by a Magic: the Gathering card -- specifically, "Benevolent Ancestor", from Ravnica. The quote on the card:
Although the door is flimsy and the lock pathetically small, Josuri's family never fears the night outside.
