Inspired by White Wolf's Vampire, a twisting little song that shows why you really... really should keep a proper eye on your ghoul. Instrumental only (piano), but lyrics do exist.
In White Wolf's Vampire: the Masquerade, a ghoul is a human who has been fed vampire blood and gained special powers as a result. This induces not merely a powerful addiction, but an intense, false love. Sometimes ghouls are aware of the false nature of their obsession; otherwise, not so much.
And any obsession can be dangerous.....

This version of "Long, Broken Hour" is instrumental only, but lyrics do exist, as listed below.
------------------------------------------
Long, broken hour of the night;
Low broken whisper in your soul.
How can I try to make things right?
How can I give you back control?
You're losing control.
You're losing control.
You wipe the bloodstains off your hand.
I smell the bloodstains in your soul.
I wonder if you understand
The Beast inside will gain control?
You're losing control.
You're losing control.
And when you lose, I will be there.
I've shared your smiles and your despair.
I've washed the ashes from your hair
and called you only mine...
you never knew...
you never will.
You never will.
And so I sit here through the night
Until the dawn can sear your soul,
Until the daystar's savage light
Burns out the demon, coal by coal
And gives you control.
And gives you control.
And when you lose, I will be there.
I've shared your smiles and your despair.
I've washed the ashes from your hair
and called you only mine...
you never knew...
you never will.
You never will.
See now; burn, now.
See now; burn.
