An atempt to write a slab of country rock!
Lyrics
Wild Rose Just a small town girl But a thief She stole my whole heart It begs belief But she takes me home tonight But she keeps me warm tonight In the half light Of the dawn In the after glow Something has torn Now she won’t take me home tonight Now she won’t keep me warm tonight O wildheart I gave you a key You don’t let me in Underneath Please take me home tonight Please keep me warm tonight Through the storm clouds To reach the calm I see his number Written on your palm She takes him home tonight She keeps him warm tonight Wild rose don’t take him home Wild rose don’t leave me alone
