This rough demo was recorded in a garage in 1964 using a reel to reel tape recorder. Just found it again in 2007 and here it is as is. It reached No. 1 in Rockabilly Genre in December, 2008
First song ever recorded in 1964 using a reel to reel tape recorder. It was done in a garage. It was packed away in boxes and just found in 2007. Vocals were very low but I was able to raise them some. I enjoyed the great guitar style of Gene Dubreuil in it and that was my main reason to get it back out there. I also did a video of the song.
THERE AIN'T NOBODY
Morris P Rainville
(song written May 23, 1963)
Chorus
There ain't bobody in this whole wide world
I love as much as you
There ain't nobody in this whole wide world
Who thrills me like you do.
When I saw you, my heart flipped
I didn't know what I was doing
You were standing there, a-lookin' so sweet
I said, I wonder where she's a-going
I talked to you, I took you out
I met your family
And then one night, while the moon shone bright
I asked you if you'd marry
We're together now in our little house
Our hearts are so very happy
We've got a little blond hair, blue eyed girl
Who plays with Mom & Daddy.
