The drone synth you hear in the second part, and in the background of the first part, was originally meant to be the centrepiece of the track. However when I brought a 303 in to augment the rhythm it kinda took control and dragged me in a direction I'd never expected to be going. Since it was Rebirth I made the most of the included 909 to build a thumping kick and snappy snare, with the 808 augmenting it.
