Progressive, experimental Rock. Anti-war!
Well I had this riff in my head (the intro riff) for like 5 months, I'd hum it everywhere I went so I set on making a song based on it. Thing is, the music was turning out to be quite angry and I felt that this song should have some sort of meaning, then one night I wrote something against war and well I put the two together.
I turn to you,
for an answer,
But all I find,
are more questions,
revelation escapes me,
by a hair's breath,
illusion pervades,
my every sense,
In and above concious dreams I drift,
Into chaos, a world rapt with desires,
A universe of boundless thirst,
Traped in the tragedy of life,
Ever searching, always looking,
For a reason, a reason to survive,
To bridge the divide,
To once again feel alive!
Alive!
I look to the infinite for answers,
But more questions arise,
Is there a cure for this ailing conciousness?
Is there a grand design?
And if there is no cure for me,
If there's no way that I can see,
It will suffice to know just why,
We ponder the reasons to stay alive,
If there's no end to suffering,
IF there is no way no will,
To stop the bleeding of innocence,
Shall we shut up and live a lie?
Can't you see? Can't you feel?
Can you offer some reasoning?
How it began and how will it end?
How many more must die?
Before we can ask the question why?
Why is life so flippantly denied?
To those who have a will to survive?
