This started out as an experiment, and turned into a speed demosntration for a buddy. It's raw and unedited, but it sounded cool so I thought I'd upload it.

Story behind the song
One of my wifes law school classmates visited from up north with her family. Her husband and I are both into music, so naturally we ended up in the studio. He is a guitar player and had resisted the software music scene. I made this song in about half an hour, looping it constantly in the background while cooking dinner in the kitchen and chasing kids around. The key to this song was speed of operation, and you can tell. Check out the bass track. That baby was done with one slide of the mouse accross a pattern editor window and moved to a bass instrument track. 10 seconds from slash to bass track, stretch, and now it's time to insert some breaks, and finally a synth lead solo, live, one take.
