Story behind the song
You probably KNOW this track as "Space Booty" (from the "SSFM*" Album), and you're probably asking, "Why have I remixed it?"
Well, I DIDN'T!!
When I uploaded "Space Booty", I mentioned that it's ONLY the Basic Track (Bass, Drums, Keyboards) of an earlier Cosmic Funk Orchestra track--
only that said rhythm-track ("Space Booty") can also stand on it's own.
Well now, you get the REAL DEAL, "The InterGalactic Jam". Just like "Standing On The Edge (Of The Funk)" and "Something Alien", this track is one of the FOUR Instrumentals from my ONLY 1987 Cassette-Album, "Time".
(A DIFFERENT VERSION of "Walking In The Shadows" is also on THAT Cassette-Album.).
The keyboards and effects RULE this track, extending it by some 48 seconds at the end. In a way, I'm glad that the FINAL Version of this song is in Hi-Fi Mono, because I think Stereo would've been too much.
