The idea to write this song came to me while wondering about what we might be thinking when we are walking on the edge of life.
I was not too happy with the song but I did send a demo to Les to get his opinion.
Have to say that I am very pleased with the final result and it’s been a pleasure working with Les

Comments from Les
Bjorn wrote this song, and sent Les a basic demo ....a couple of Vocal tracks, and Acoustic guitar, with a basic "Casio keyboard" drumbeat. Over a period of 3 weeks, Les EQ-ed and imported these tracks into the Multitrack program, Reaper, and added Bass, and another Acoustic guitar. The drums were all replaced with real drum sounds, via Re-triggering from the original keyboard drums. Les added a Tamborine track too, and an intro and outro guitar part, unusually for Les, fingerpicked on a little Westfield acoustic.
Finally, Les played a Live "String" part in Fruity Loops, running as a VST plugin. After adding some Vintage "tube" warmth via the PSP Vintage Warmer Plugin, mixed it "Live" in Reaper to a Stereo Master WAV file.

My life is here, and its late
Memories dissapear
I lay me in this bed of Roses
Here my life begins
Love me, I am falling
Hold me, while I'm still here
Guide me into your Heaven
Kiss me, I am nearly there
The chilly wind takes it time
Hunting me high and low
There must be snow in the air
Everything so white where I lay
Love me, I am falling
Hold me, while I'm still here
Guide me into your Heaven
Kiss me, I am nearly there
I feel my life belongs to you
I'm not ready yet to leave
Here is someone who is waiting
Counting stars between her tears
Love me, I'm Free fallin'
Hold me, while I'm still here
Guide me into your Heaven
Kiss me, I am nearly there
Love me, i,m free fallin'
Hold me, while I'm still here
Guide me into your Heaven
Kiss me, I am nearly there
