Story behind the song
Another OSMOSIS-made DAILY DOSE oFFUNK Bumper, used mainly on MySpace to announce new collabs as we put them online.
Maurice "The FUNKASAURUS" Richmond asked me to do a couple of Bumpers and Skits for THE DAILY DOSE OF FUNK station and song intros. After listening to his first dozen, I followed the same example.
And, the 'idea' for "GOD Declaring The Funk" came by accident (and a BEER!!). So, I sent THIS bumper to The FUNKASAURUS for him to utilize.
But, I was still tickled by that prospect of GOD declaring ARMEGEDDON with the Funk---
so, I re-did the opening "bomb", mixed the drums to sync properly, extended the bassline (by constant repeat mix), and came up with the full-length version of "GOD SAID"--the first half of which I already uploaded.
Nonetheless, this Bumper is THE ORIGINAL VERISON (with all of The DAILY DOSE OF FUNK Chart Monsters listed).
Y'know, I think as a group, we're on the verge of SCARING the Hell Outta Folks------
