God gave me this song to write for Todd Brookshier, his wife Debbie, his daughter Sherry and two of his sons, Josh and Mike. Another of Todd's sons, Matthew, went to be with the Lord in May, 2007 after loosing a battle with "the bear." He had been recovering from drug rehabilitation but was unable to continue remaining free from the bondage that the drug had on this young man. He was only 24 when he overdosed.
BUT GLORY WILL PREVAIL! He had accepted Jesus into his life, so his father, mother, brothers and sister will see him again in that beautiful land...where joy will never end!
Verse 1
Someday my eyes; will see you again
Someday my hands; will touch your face.
Once I've left here; I'll join you there.
We'll walk together; in the fields so fair!
Verse 2
Someday my strength; will be whole again.
Someday I'll hear; you whisper "I love you."
We will remember; those younger days!
Running -n- laughing; in the sun we'd play!
Chorus
Hmmmmm
Hmmmmm
Someday together
We'll be together up there
In that beautiful land
Where our joy will never end!
Verse 3
Someday sometime; I will understand
Why you had to leave me; at such a youthful age.
My pain and separation; will come to an end.
We'll live together; in that Promised Land!
Chorus
Instrumental Break
Chorus
Outtro
Where our joy will never end!
Never end!
