The band came about when Neal was introduced to Carl by Edward,one of his studio engineers. What started as a recording project quickly turned into a full band setup after all involved in the recording on this album seemed to have a certain chemistry that made it such a pleasure to work together. The band was formed in June 2006, and the name was chosen after a Major Radio station That Carl was a prime time DJ for, ran a competition to name the band. At present the band is working on their live set and will be announcing their Asian tour dates in due cause. Their first Album is due for release early June 2007. entitled " MY LIFE " Neal who originates from the U.K. has been involved in the music industry as a session Keyboardist for more than 2 decades and brings a wealth of experience to the boys in Zavanna. Neal has worked with so many outstanding recording artists from all over the World and yet still says that some of the very best musicians that he has had the pleasure to work with come from the Philippines and that is why he decided to settle here. Zavanna has great reviews from their fans at myspace, along with several major artists in the UK who love their sound. including Dicki Fliszar of the the famous UK Rock group SKIN and Drummer for The Bruce Dickinson band penned a track for them titled " Beautiful Day ".
