Story behind the song
I had a friend who thought that feeling blue was something that never touched him and he used to live a life pretending to be always happy or angry. One day he woke up and he was forced confess that the feeling he was trying to to deny was inside him ... and didn't sound new at all.
We used to serve together the Red Cross, instead of serving in the Army, that we both hated.
