My first solo acoustic electric piece written on my new Washburn. No lyrics...none intended on this one. My son recorded/mixed it.
This song grew out of a composition I'd been working on for over a year ("Old Man Winter"), but an offshoot morphed into this arrangement. The inspiration for the title and the feel of the song come from a place overlooking the Ohio River from high above. On certain evenings a foggy mist could roll in. The view was mysteriously spectacular. A listener might imagine a river valley, or silently, slowly floating down a stream or river as newer venues surface bankside. The song is almost devoid of regularity, but measures do resurface in different lights.
