Story behind the song
This is Pootle's 1st (and probably only) entry into www.soundsforsamplers.com's "March of the beats" contest. The song is built solely from contest samples (apart from the name tag obviously). Torchwood was a spin-off from the relaunched Doctor Who TV series. It was supposed to be a British X-Files but it turned out to be more like a live action Scooby Doo with a little softcore titillation thrown into the rather weak mix. It's still amusing tho. So why that name? Well Captain Jack, Scrappy Doo and the rest of the Torchwood team have a pet terasaur/pteradactil and there's a sample during my song (the shreiking violin scrape) which, I imagine, sounds just like a Terasaur. Pootle is having major difficulties trying to mix/master this track so any/all constructive advice is gratefully received.
