The mood is carefree in this jazz fusion tune. One of my first attempts at completely loop-based song construction.
This is the first song I "created" using a loop-based computer music creation program called Music Maker. Similar, I suppose to programs like Acid or Fruity loops.
It's interesting that people seem to like this tune, but I kind of feel like I don't really deserve credit for it. It was 'composed" by pasting pre-recorded loops together in a sequence, and didn't require me to play a single note on any actual instrument. More like paint by numbers than oil on canvas. And all the loops are professionally recorded, so the end result sounds pretty much like a professional studio recording.
All of my other tunes are played by me on actual instruments and the music came from my own improvisation and imagination. They don't sound like professional studio recordings because they aren't. They were recorded in a very unorthodox way using my home stereo, because I had to make do with what I had available. They may be a lot less professional sounding, but I am much more proud of them because they are truly my creations.
