I wrote this song starting with a drumbeat instead of guitar first as I usually do.

Story behind the song
It has a lot of different meanings. When I created this song I just started singing to the drumbeat while playing around with my guitar, not knowing where I was headed. But now I can see it relates to about 3 different areas of my life, and that's interesting to me.
Lyrics
Two seated strangers sharing a bottle of wine Yes you know me girl I'm a friend of the summertime Catch another shooting star upon my tongue and give it to you I'm a sunset going blue These hands can't hold anything They're claws only meant to hurt If you let them wrap around you you're going to hurt Stay a stranger you're sitting with danger Just walk away or you're going to hurt Just walk away or you're going to hurt My mind's a magician to me playing tricks sure to deceive If you get too close it will get you too It's not my fault not who I am I crave love like a drowning man cries for air But you don't care And that's okay even though I want you If you let them wrap around you you're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt Stay a stranger Stay a stranger you're sitting with danger Just walk away or you're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt You're going to hurt
